Agency Membership
Educational agencies with international or domestic headquarters may become AIRC members after successfully completing AIRC’s Certification Process. For the purposes of AIRC membership and certification, an education agency is a contracted representative that provides student counseling, recruitment, and/or enrollment services; and receives incentive compensation or commission from institutions for the successful placement of international students. Education agency businesses can include individuals, organizations, companies, or associations.
COST: Once AIRC Certified, educational agency membership fees vary by size; small agencies (placing fewer than 3,000 students globally annually – based on the previous calendar year – January through December) pay $2,000 USD per year. Large agencies (placing 3,000 or more students globally annually – based on the previous calendar year – January through December) pay $4,000 USD per year. Continue to the AIRC Certification section to read more about the Certification process.

Service Provider MEMBERSHIP
For the purposes of AIRC membership, a service provider is a for-profit or non-profit entity that offers products and services that support institutions, students, or companies in their international enrollment management operations. These entities provide services that assist with international student enrollment but do not directly recruit or counsel international students. Service Providers can include individuals, organizations, companies, or associations.
Examples of Service Providers include: Foreign language testing platform, foreign language support or tutoring, financial services platform, international student insurance, peer-to-peer edtech platform, foreign credential evaluator, in-country logistics or tour/fair provider, visa/employment support, technology support, or stand-alone legal/immigration support.
