About AIRC

AIRC: The Association of International Enrollment Management is a non-profit 501(c)(3) membership association of accredited secondary and post-secondary institutions, student educational recruitment agencies, and service providers that seek to promote standards-based international student recruitment and enrollment practices. As a leader in the field of international enrollment management, AIRC develops and provides essential resources, services, and programs for its 350+ members to advance their recruitment goals and adhere to standards. AIRC is a Standards Development Organization (SDO) registered with the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission.

Our Mission

AIRC champions the interests of international students, educational institutions, and educational agencies through the development of professional standards and partnerships that advance effective and strategic practices in international enrollment management.

What We've Achieved

  • AIRC’s rigorous, independent and objective Certification of educational recruitment agencies is the quality standard in the United States.

  • AIRC is the Standards Development Organization for the field of international student enrollment recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice, Attorney General and Federal Trade Commission.

  • AIRC led the effort to engage and work alongside the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs leadership in promoting a variety of ethical recruitment practices for U.S. higher education worldwide.

  • AIRC’s members work together to establish quality standards for international student enrollment in the United States. AIRC is a member of The Council for Higher Education Accreditation International Quality Group (CIQG) and is committed to the promotion of quality higher education internationally.
